Nova Series FAQ
Nova is our newest cabinet line, offered in two colors: Sage and Pearl.
This page answers the most common questions about how Nova differs from our other lines when quoting, ordering and installing.

WHAT COLOR ARE THE CABINET BOXES?
All Nova cabinets use a universal box in Honey Wheat finish, except tall cabinets. Tall cabinets have boxes that match the door color, so a Sage tall cabinet has a Sage box and a Pearl tall cabinet has a Pearl box.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR EXPOSED CABINET ENDS?
Add a finished panel to every exposed end. Because most Nova boxes are Honey Wheat, an exposed side will not match the door color without one. Include the panels on the order when quoting the job. Finished panels are in stock and already cut to size.
DO I NEED TO ORDER THE BWBK18-2 TRASH KIT FOR A NOVA BASE TRASH CABINET?
No. In the Nova series the trash kit is now part of the base trash cabinet. You do not need to order the BWBK18-2 separately.
ARE THERE ANY NEW CABINET SIZES?
Yes. We have added a 27” drawer base. This size is available in the Nova series only.
WHICH ACCESSORIES DO I USE WITH NOVA PEARL?
Nova Pearl is a color match for our Shaker Dove White. Use Shaker Dove White accessories with all Nova Pearl cabinets.
HOW ARE NOVA FLAT PACK CABINETS PACKAGED?
All Nova flat pack cabinets now ship in two separate boxes: • Box 1: the cabinet box • Box 2: the face frame, doors and drawers Make sure both boxes are received for each cabinet before installation.
WHAT IF I WANT MORE SIZE OPTIONS FOR FULL HEIGHT BASE CABINETS?
Because the boxes, face frames and doors are packaged separately, you can build a Full Height Base cabinet from any in-stock Nova Series Base Box. Order the Nova Series Base Box and the corresponding Nova Series Wall FFD together.
Example: For a Nova Sage Base 30 with a full height door, order a Nova Series Base 30 Box and a Nova Sage Wall 3030 FFD
WHAT IF I WANT A MORE TRADITIONAL CROWN MOLDING TO COMPLEMENT THE NOVA SERIES?
We are stocking a more traditional style crown molding in matching Nova colors to complement the traditional style of the Nova Series.
